Your unit almost certainly already gets enough interest to hit its number. That was the surprise in a month of listening to units across this council: we don't have a lead problem. We have a follow-up problem. A family says they're interested at a school event, the name goes on the back of a napkin, life happens, and three weeks later nobody remembers. That family didn't say no — they just never got asked twice.

Nothing here asks you to recruit differently. It asks you to stop losing the families you already reached. Every inquiry is captured, the family hears back within minutes automatically, and the follow-up keeps going until they join or tell us to stop — the part that used to depend on someone remembering.

The same goes for the materials. The flyer that took an hour in Canva takes sixty seconds. The email you rewrite every year is already written. The call script is on the screen. None of that is new work — it's work you were already doing, done faster.

And here's the point of getting that time back: spend it on the program itself. A pack that runs a great meeting keeps the families it recruits — and a unit that keeps its Scouts has a much smaller number to chase next year. Recruiting hard into a weak program is a treadmill.
